What We Do

Technology

Our office utilizes state-of-the-art technology to provide the highest level of care.

  • Digital X-rays
Our digital X-ray system uses 50 to 90 percent less radiation than old fashioned film X-rays and enables us to quickly and effectively check your teeth and the supporting structures for decay and other problems. The highly-detailed image of your teeth on our computer screen allows you to see any problems which need to be addressed.
  • Digital intra-oral cameras
Using intra-oral imaging, we can capture digital images of your teeth for your review on our video monitors. This makes you an active partner in your dental treatment by allowing you to see what we see inside your mouth.
  • DIAGNOdent laser
The DIAGNOdent laser helps us detect tooth decay in the earliest stages. Your restorations will be smaller and less costly, and you’ll be able to retain more of your own natural, healthy tooth.
  • Diode laser

A laser is a device that uses light energy to perform work. Lasers are unique because they can treat targeted tissue while leaving surrounding tissue unaffected. In addition, lasers seal off blood vessels and nerve endings during a procedure lessening bleeding, postoperative pain and swelling. In many cases due to their gentle and precise nature lasers are used with little or no anesthetic. Our diode lasers allow us to provide you a comfortable treatment alternative for:

    • Eliminating dangerous periodontal bacteria
    • Gum recontouring or other gum surgeries
    • Loosening a tight frenum
    • Cold sore and canker sore treatment
  • Air-abrasion system
Air abrasion offers a drill-free option for removing a minimal amount of tooth structure for tooth decay in its early stages. There is no vibration or heat and the procedure usually does not require anesthetic.

We are constantly evaluating new dental technology and materials to provide our patients with the highest quality dental care.
