Helping Make Every Smile in Grand Junction Beautiful
Csilla is from Hungary and she found us on Google. She was getting married soon and she wanted all of her upper teeth to match. She is aware of areas of chipping and possible decay. Csilla also wants overall brighter, whiter teeth. She researched cosmetic dental treatment options and when she researched our office and talked to others who had treatment with Dr. Gillis, she knew she wanted to have a consult at our office.
We completed a thorough examination and reviewed all the options to achieve Csilla’s goals. Several appointments were pre scheduled to keep with Csilla’s timeline to complete before the wedding. Treatment began with custom tray bleaching which worked wonderfully. Dr. Gillis conservatively treated the upper teeth with a mixture of crowns and veneers depending on the health of the underlying teeth. Gingival plastic surgery was done to even the gum line of the front teeth.
Csilla appreciated that our office would be very conservative where possible. Even with her custom temporary restorations, Csilla noted that she had ‘taken lots of pictures and was more confident and smiling more’. When the completed restorations were tried in, Csilla had her fiancée with her to evaluate the new restorations. Both were very pleased and her gorgeous, confident smile was on full display for the many wedding photos that followed!

When necessary, Dr. Gillis works with a team of specialists including endodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons, and orthodontists to achieve optimum results.
This team concept extends to our dental labs which we believe are the finest available in the country. All of our porcelain work is crafted by an AACD accredited lab technician. We believe the combination of an artistic, talented dentist and a high quality dental lab equals superior dentistry and lasting results.
We have three methods of teeth whitening available for our patients using products from Opalescence, Zoom, and others. Dr. Gillis and her cosmetic dentistry team will work with you to decide which option and whitening strength is right for you. We have an in-office solution that provides instantly visible results, prefilled disposable trays for on-the-go whitening and a take-home option that is customized to fit your mouth.
When you have small chips, cracks, or stains, bonding may offer a simple cosmetic dentistry solution. The process involves mixing resin to create a shade that matches your natural teeth and applying it to the affected area. The material is cured with a light and adheres to the surface of your teeth, immediately resulting in a more beautiful smile. You’ll be able to rest easy knowing that the bonding we offer will be practically imperceptible to your loved ones and colleagues.
Porcelain Veneers and Lumineers
Concealing chips, cracks, discolorations, or slightly misaligned teeth with porcelain veneers will create a look you will love. We custom match the porcelain to your natural tooth color, so people will only notice your amazing smile, not Dr. Gillis’s great cosmetic dentistry work.
Lumineers are a cosmetic dentistry solution that covers stained, chipped, discolored, or misaligned teeth. These veneers can be made as thin as a contact lenses and are placed over existing teeth often without requiring removal of tooth structure. It’ll be up to you and Dr. Gillis which veneer system is right for you. Please call our office and we would be happy to begin this discussion with you!
Laser Gum Reshaping
Laser dentistry allows our team to perform a number of treatments with minimal discomfort, bleeding, and healing time including periodontal therapy and crown lengthening. However, we can also use dental lasers to perform purely cosmetic gum recontouring for those patients with excess gum tissue or gums that are uneven making teeth look like they are of various lengths. Unlike traditional gum contouring, the laser process typically does not require stitches which shortens the length of time needed to heal fully.
We provide cosmetic dentistry procedures to patients from Grand Junction, Fruita, Palisade, Orchard Mesa, and Clifton. Dr. Gillis and our staff can’t wait to makeover your smile while you relax knowing that we’re highly trained and experienced in providing cosmetic dentistry to fit your needs.
