Take-Home Custom-Fit Trays
The current state-of-the-art bleaching system that we use with most patients is custom tray whitening. Specialized trays are made from models of your teeth and they enable you to easily whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home. We offer systems for bleaching during the day for as little time as 30 minutes per day for several days or nighttime bleaching. We will help monitor your progress and answer any questions you may have along the way.
KÖR® Whitening System
You may have been told in the past that your teeth would not bleach. This may now be possible! Able to address even the deepest, most stubborn stains, the KöR® Whitening Deep Bleaching™ System, as used in our office, involves a combination of at-home treatment and in-office whitening. It is specially formulated to help reduce the sensitivity often associated with teeth whitening, and offers long-lasting results. We will create customized trays for you to use for this unique whitening treatment. During the treatment, the trays are filled with a powerful whitening gel and worn overnight. The trays are comfortable, thin and form-fitting, helping to seal the gel in without leakage. Once your at-home treatment has been completed, you will return to our office to enhance your results with a deep whitening session. We will walk you through each step of the process to increase your success. Following treatment, your custom trays can continue to be used for regular maintenance, as needed.
Take-Home Disposable Trays
Disposable whitening trays combine moldable trays prefilled with teeth whitening gels that are pressed to your teeth. This method offers lower cost and far superior results when compared to over-the-counter white strips. Dr. Gillis offers Opalescence Trèswhite Supreme if you want to begin teeth whitening treatments or keep your smile stunning between our in-office treatments. The trays are disposable and hard to notice, making them ideal for whitening on-the-go. Dr. Gillis can recommend which of the two prescription strength options are right for you. The trays can be worn from 15 – 60 minutes depending upon her instructions. You’ll notice results in about a week with this convenient teeth whitening solution.
In-Office Power Whitening
For clients who want immediate results, we offer an in-office power bleaching system. You will have a brighter, more vibrant smile to share with your friends after one visit. Instant results are achieved by using Opalescence Boost. You’ll come in to the office, and the procedure will take about an hour because the treatment is chemically-activated instead of light-activated, which means you won’t have to waste time underneath an ultraviolet lamp. Opalescence Boost uses syringe to syringe mixing, ensuring the product used for you will be as fresh as can be. You’ll be able to see results after one appointment.
All Opalescence products contain potassium nitrate and fluoride, which work to strengthen your enamel, decrease sensitivity, and help prevent cavities.
