To Whiten or Not to Whiten? It’s Easy and Fun!
In our office, we offer three methods of teeth whitening and have recently added a fourth method for especially difficult teeth that have not responded to whitening systems in the past.
- Take-home whitening gels and custom-fitted trays
- In-office whitening or power bleaching
- Prefilled disposable whitening trays
- Kor Deep Bleaching System
The tooth whitening system which works best for most patients is custom-tray whitening. Specialized trays made from models of your teeth hold the whitening gel and allow you to easily whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home.
Custom bleaching trays in place. They are thin, comfortable and custom fit for you in our office.
We offer gels for tooth whitening or bleaching that require as little as 30 minutes per day or gels which allow you to bleach overnight while you sleep. Results will vary, but most people achieve their brighter smile in one to two weeks.

Teeth before bleachiing
For clients who want immediate results, we offer an in-office power whitening system. The procedure will take about an hour using a chemically-activated gel applied directly to your teeth. We will then have you follow up with the take home system described above to ensure the best result.
Disposable tooth bleaching or tooth whitening trays are moldable trays prefilled with teeth whitening gel that can be pressed to your teeth. This method offers lower cost than customized trays and far superior results to over-the-counter white strips; however, they may not achieve the same result as the custom tray system.
The Kor tooth whitening system utilizes custom trays which seal the whitening gel inside of the tray and keep saliva out. These custom bleaching trays are worn at night and are so effective, even tetracycline-stained teeth are often whitened in a short period of time.
